Client overview
Exit 11 Coffee is a fast-growing local coffee chain serving coffee and a light food menu. They're a Washington, MO business with a strong online presence alongside their physical locations.
They had photos when they came to me, mostly social media shots from their social media manager. Useful for feeds, but not built for every channel. Their online store and online menu needed professional imagery that matched the quality of what they serve in person.

The problem
Quality food and drink photography is not easy to produce. Phone photos and rushed shots don't sell a menu item online the way a real plate or cup does in the shop.
Exit 11 had social media photos, but those aren't always the right fit for an online store, a full drink menu, print, or outdoor signage. They needed a photographer with food styling experience and the workflow to deliver files that work across all of it.

How we started
Exit 11 reached out to see if I could photograph their products for their online site. That first project was a location shoot on a Saturday. Their executive team was involved: the owner, vice president, and chef. Together we created mouth-watering shots of their food offerings. I handled the food styling and photography.
That shoot opened the door to more projects as the business grew.

What I did

Food menu photography
Location shoot with Exit11's executive team: the owner, vice president, and chef. Food styling and photography for their online menu and marketing.

Gift box photography
Later project: photography for gift box products sold through their online store.

Full drink menu photography
A full day of shooting every drink on the menu. All shots on white.

Web and print deliverables
Low-resolution images optimized for their website. High-resolution images for printed materials, including billboards and outdoor signage. One result you can see locally: Exit11 has a billboard between Washington and Union featuring my photography.

What this means for similar businesses
If you run a restaurant, coffee shop, bakery, or food retailer in Washington, MO or the surrounding area, your online menu is doing sales work whether you designed it that way or not. Customers order with their eyes first.
Exit11 didn't need a full rebrand or a marketing agency. They needed professional photography beyond what social media shots could cover: food styling, on-white product work, and files that work on a website and on a billboard.
